How much does a ticket cost?

The Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt tickets are $30 for 1 child or $40 for 2 children. There’s no charge for adult chaperones. Adults have the option to purchase a “Child at Heart” ticket to receive candy and treats along with the children.

How do I buy 2 child tickets or a Child at Heart ticket?

When purchasing a ticket, select the add-on option “+1 FOR TRICK OR TREAT TREASURE HUNT.”

What comes with a ticket?

The Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt tickets come with access to the main treasure hunt event and treats along the trail.

During the Treasure Hunt event, families receive a map and go on a Treasure Hunt through Couturie Forest in City Park to find where spooky characters have hidden their sugary treats. Along the route, treasure hunters will complete pirate challenges and learn nature facts.

All children will receive sealed treat bags along the route. Chaperones do not receive candy at the Trick or Treat stations. There is a $10 add-on option for an adult “Child at Heart” to receive candy as well.

After the Treasure Hunt, we will have concessions for sale at the Fall Festival along with additional games and fun.

Do I have to get a ticket ahead of time, or can I just show up and buy a ticket on site?

Get a ticket ahead of time. Lots of time slots sell out, so we can’t guarantee that you’ll get a spot of you just show up.

Are we canoeing again this year?

No, we are not canoeing this year. The lagoons are clogged with aquatic invasive species, so we can’t canoe.

Will the trails be the same as last year?

Nope! We will be using the Couturie Forest trails this year with a new mystery to solve.

What time should we get there?

Try to arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes before your time slot. This gives you enough time to park, check in, and use the restroom before heading out on your adventure.

Where do we park?

There is a small parking lot adjacent to our office, plus parking along the fence across from our office. There is a larger parking lot on Harrison Avenue next to Magnolia Drive, across from the police stables.

Our address is: 1031 Harrison Ave. | New Orleans | LA | 70124

Please don’t block anybody in or block gates.

We STRONGLY encourage carpooling and ride sharing.

Is the Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt scary like a haunted house?

The Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt is NOT scary. It is designed to be fun for kids of all ages. At LOOP NOLA, our motto is “Everyone Belongs Outdoors.” We know that a love of the outdoors starts at a young age, so we want all of the youngsters to have a good time and learn that outdoor spaces aren’t scary after all.

Is there a minimum age?

All ages are welcome. The Treasure Hunt takes place along mulched trails, so strollers with durable wheels are best.

Can adults do the Trick or Treat Treasure hunt too?

As long as you’ve got a kiddo with you, sure! When you buy the child ticket, there is a $10 add-on option to add one additional child or adult “Child at Heart” to receive candy as well.

Are dogs and other pets allowed?

Sorry, no fur babies or pets of any sort are allowed. Service animals are allowed.

What should we wear?

Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required. No matter your outfit, wear comfortable clothing that you won’t mind getting a little dirty.

We also suggest bringing a bag of some sort to put all your loot in.

I see you’re not selling alcohol. Can I bring my own?

The Trick or Treat Treasure Hunt is a no-alcohol, drugs, or tobacco event.

You’re welcome to bring water bottles, snacks for the kiddos, etc. We’ll have water, sodas, and other concessions for sale at the Fall Festival as well.

What if it rains?

If it’s just a light drizzle, the show goes on as usual.

If it is a real rain storm or there is thunder/lightning, we will cancel the time slots necessary for the rain to pass.

If we have to cancel a time slot for any reason, we will notify everyone scheduled for that slot ASAP. If you are scheduled for that slot, you will get the option to either reschedule or be refunded for the ticket.

What if I bought tickets but something came up and I can’t come after all?

If you give us more than 7 days notice, you will get the option to either reschedule or be refunded for the ticket.

If you give us less than 7 days notice, you will get the option to reschedule but we will not issue a refund.
