Provide gear for outdoor adventures

Our students love outdoor adventures, but they can be a little rough on the gear. $15 will help us replace outdoor gear like compasses, flint & steel, or dip nets when they get worn.

All of our safety equipment is regularly inspected, and it gets decommissioned when it is no longer safe to use. $50 will buy a new climbing harness or life jacket for our outdoor adventures.

At LOOP NOLA, we believe that Everyone Belongs Outdoors. For lots of kids in New Orleans, summer break is really a break from learning, playing, and socializing. School is out, and they need something constructive to do with their free time. We’ve seen firsthand how summer camps have the potential to positively impact a child’s life, and we want all children to have access to a formative summer camp experience no matter their financial background.
During each week of Camp LOOP Garou, campers spend their days making new friends, building their confidence through outdoor activities, and learning new life skills. We rely on donors like you to help provide financial assistance for would-be campers who couldn’t otherwise afford a summer experience like Camp LOOP Garou.
