CAMP LOOP GAROU 2024

Let your child explore their wild side this summer at Camp LOOP Garou!

My son absolutely LOVED his week at camp. On his first day he said it was the “best day ever!” When Friday came, he was sad for it to be over. He complains about every summer camp BUT NOT this one!

Camp LOOP Garou is for rising 4th graders to rising 9th graders. To meet the need for safe, fun outdoor adventures this summer, we are hosting four weeklong day camps this year:

4 weeks of camp

June 3rd - 7th (SOLD OUT)

June 10th - 14th (SOLD OUT)

June 17th - 21st (SOLD OUT)

June 24th - June 28th (SOLD OUT)

Camp LOOP Garou will be held at our office near Scout Island in City Park from 9am - 3pm with before and after care available for an additional fee. We have decades of experience running outdoor programs for children, teens, and tweens. Our trained staff make Camp LOOP Garou a memorable, meaningful, and safe summer camp experience for all campers. Throughout each week, campers will be able to try new outdoor adventures, build their confidence, choose their electives, and make connections with fellow campers and counselors.

Activities will include:

  • Canoeing/Kayaking

  • High Ropes Challenges

  • Fishing

  • Hiking

  • Wilderness Skills

  • Diverse Electives

Snacks will be provided throughout the day, but campers will need to bring their own lunches.

Registration is $325 until March 1, 2024 and $350 after that date. Camp slots are limited and will be on a first come, first served basis. Full refunds will be given for cancellations until May 1, 2024. Partial refund (50%) will be given until May 30th. No refunds will be provided on or after May 31st. For questions and more information contact Arin Okada at aokada@loopnola.org or 504.330.5369.

My son rarely gives details when he comes home from school or summer camp. However, this year, he was so talkative every day when I picked him up on our ride to camp. He LOVED this camp! The variety of things to do, being active outside, the camaraderie of the staff and students... these were all some of the highlights.
