Partner Programs

LOOP NOLA addresses the lack of equity in the outdoors for low-income youth by providing thousands of students with programs that allow participants to explore, learn and develop a sense of ownership in the outdoors. LOOP NOLA has existing partnerships with thirty public and private schools, summer camps, and nonprofits, including FirstLine Schools, Choice Foundation schools, ReNew schools, Center for Resilience, and Youth Empowerment Project. We serve 2,500 students annually with 15,000 hours of half day and full day outdoor programs. Locations include New Orleans City Park, Louisiana State Parks, and more public lands no more than a half hour drive from the city. Staff are trained in social and emotional skill facilitation, trauma-informed practices, and youth development best practices.
